What Sets DoF Apart?

 <li>DoF provides a graphical user interface where you can input parameters through intuitive pointing and dragging actions and view the results instantly. It features a distinctive double-cone visualization to demonstrate blur relative to subject distance.</li>
 <li>DoF goes beyond standard calculations by considering both diffraction and focus blur in determining depth of field, especially crucial for modern high-resolution digital cameras with smaller sensors.</li>
 <li>DoF includes the ability to calculate depth of field based on aperture and focus distance, but its standout feature lies in determining the optimum f-stop and focus distance within a range of distances, accounting for diffraction effects and worst-case scenario blur.</li>

Understanding Circle of Confusion
